Artists: Jim Dick
Jim Dick has been hiking the back-country of Gallatin and Madison counties for the past 30 years, with his paint box and canvasses in tow, of course. Jim loves nothing more than to spend the day in the mountains, translating the essence of Montana- the landscape and wildlife - onto his canvas.
Jim is especially fond of the Big Sky area and spends a lot of time hiking the Gallatin and Madison ranges. He's been through almost every square mile of that country before most of the development that is now Big Sky was even being conceived.
