The raw materials are collected from salvage yards and consists of fragments of old cars, farm machinery, oil drums, kitchen appliances, and various industrial materials. With torch and plasma cutter, they cut the pieces into appropriate sizes and bend them into shape by hand or hammer. Then, the pieces are welded into place to create the sculptures.
When identifiable, the provenance of the various metals used are listed and accompany the piece. Bill and Chris strive to create pieces that are unique, have unity, color and interesting composition.
