Artists: Nicholas Oberling
Nicholas Oberling was educated at Cornell University and studied painting at the Art Students League of New York for a decade.
He has been a quickdraw artist and auction participant in the CM Russell annual auction and sale in Great Falls Montana, the Treasure State Art Auction, and the Montana Land Reliance Auction. He ia regular participant in the CM Russell Museum's miniature show, the annual Masters in Montana event, and in invitational auctions on behalf of the Nature Conservancy, the Yellowstone Art Museum, the Hockaday Museum of Art and the Paris Gibson Square Museum.
Nick is a founding member of the Montana Painters' Alliance and is represented by galleries in Massachusetts, Montana, Connecticut, New York, New Jersy, and Indiana. Most recently he completed a body of work, studies of Glacier National Park, for a one-man show at Samarah Fine Arts in Whitefish, Montana.
Nick is married to artist Jennifer Li and lives in Kalispell, Montana.
