Artists: Arlon Rosenoff
"I paint with a palette knife because it gives me the opportunity to interact with paint in a very tactile, expressionistic way. Each viewer of my art is able to gain a strong sense of my physical interaction with the paint, with every stroke and manipulation visible forever. The surfaces of my paintings are very telling - sometimes resembling a mosaic of palette knife strokes."
Arlon's work is a feast for the eyes! His use of color and technique - loose palette knife application of paint - prompts the viewer to take his/her time with each painting, as there is so much to see. Arlon's creative expressionism and his love of the arts comes through in his work. Arlon is a member of the Oil Painters of America and the American Impressionist Society. His work has been featured in many juried shows throughout the Pacific Northwest.
