Jacqueline Rieder Hud

Painting the Wild

Exhibition and Sale

Zoot Enterprises Gallery of Art
July 1st through October 31st, 2007

A showing of colorful expressionist paintings by Jacqueline Rieder Hud opened at the Zoot Enterprises Gallery of Art with an artist's reception Thursday, July 12, 2007.

"My paintings are fusions of imagery from conscious and unconscious states. They express personal inner growth through manifestations of dreams and wakeful intuitive flashes."

Rieder Hud has studied at the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles and has documented her dreams and other instinctual nuances for thirty years. Each painting tells a story of personal discovery, Jungian individuation, and shamanic soul flight. Rieder Hud lives on a homestead ranch outside Bozeman where the landscape speaks to her and totem horse guides her. The documentary film also titled "Painting the Wild" by Streetlight Cinema of Los Angeles will be available for viewing.
