Artist's Reception: To Be Announced

Waters of Renewal (tm) is an art glass presentation that stimulates global awareness of our environment. This exhibition will encourage personal and political environmental attention and action. Waters of Renewal is a physical representation of environmental issues that visually "speaks change" to its viewers.

The exhibition contains eight art glass panels. Each of seven three-foot circular panels depicts an era of global concern. The subjects are: Oceans; Wildfires; Rainforest; War; Famine; Addiction; and Pollution. The eighth panel is a four-foor circular panel entitled "Waters of Renewal" that symbolizes the joining of hands in search of finding solutions to save our planet and the people who live in it. Each of the eight panels is accompanied by a poem or prose quote that expresses our shared concerns for the environment.
