About Betsy

Betsy was born and raised on a dairy farm in south-central Pennsylvania. After High School, Betsy attended Lebanon Valley College in Annville, PA and graduated in 1985 with degrees in Business Administration and Music Performance.

Immediately upon graduating, she joined the Fulton Bank in Lancaster, Pennsylvania as a management trainee. She went on to hold positions in sales and marketing in the financial services industry with the MarComm Group (Burlington, MA), TransUnion Credit Information Company (Boston, MA), and American International Recovery (Boston, MA), a division of the AIG group of insurance companies.

In the fall of 1993, Betsy relocated from the east coast to Bozeman, MT. It was here in the west that her business experience and love of the arts joined together to emerge as a career in the art business. In September 2001, Betsy launched Betsy Swartz Fine Art Consulting, Inc. and specializes in private placement of fine art.
